Lash Lifts & Microblading

Here at Cayce Medical Spa in Columbia, MO, we offer a variety of cosmetic procedures to have you looking and feeling your best. Two of our most popular treatments are lash lifts and microblading. Both lash lifts and microblading are designed to be low maintenance ways to enhance your natural features and keep you feeling beautiful!

Lash Lift and Tint

Our lash lift and tint procedure is two steps and involves curling each individual eyelash, followed by tinting to give them a thicker, darker and longer appearance. To enhance those results, we recommend a product called Latisse, a topical medication that encourages longer, thicker, darker lashes.

The lash lift and tint procedure is much more gentle on the lashes than traditional lash extensions. Additionally, if properly cared for, a lash lift and tint can last anywhere from 4-6 weeks!

LATISSE®

Not enough lashes? LATISSE® grows lashes longer, fuller and darker. You'll first begin to see changes in length. Then, gradually, you'll notice more thickness and darkness in your lashes. If you're satisfied with your results by week 8, don't stop there. Stick with the treatment. After week 16, you'll see the full effect of LATISSE®

Upneeq

Low-lying lids can affect the way you look and see things. Upneeq is the only FDA-approved prescription eyedrop for acquired ptosis (low-lying lids) that lifts your upper eyelids to open your eyes.

Microblading

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique in which pigment is added to the skin to give the appearance of darker, fuller eyebrows. The microblading strokes are so fine that microbladed eyebrows look incredibly natural and compliment your face shape.

What does the microblading procedure look like?

The procedure starts with a consultation. One of our highly trained staff will go over the look you are wanting and put together your customized plan. After your consultation, the treatment can begin. Our licensed estheticians will start by numbing the treatment area and mapping out the eyebrows according to your natural and desired arch and thickness. Once the brows are numb, and the size and shape of the eyebrows agreed upon, the actual microblading begins. This step involves inserting pigment into the skin using a hand tool with very fine needles. The entire microblading procedure takes anywhere from 20-40 minutes and most patients feel very little pain.

Your newly microbladed eyebrows will take anywhere from 5-14 days to fully heal, and you will be sent home with aftercare instructions. We typically recommend that clients schedule a second session between 4 and 6 weeks for a touch up and to add more fullness if desired. Depending on how well you care for your new eyebrows, microblading can last 18 months or longer.
